    IHL & SPHERE Materials in Ukrainian

    Please see below resources on IHL in Ukranian and English, shared by ICRC colleagues, for dissemination to staff and partners as necessary: 

    • In Ukranian:  https://blogs.icrc.org/ua/2021/05/31/ihl-comprehensive-intro/ - “IHL : A Comprehensive Introduction”, which ICRC translated into Ukrainian in 2020). This should be a very good initial basis to get familiar with IHL.
    • In Ukrainian: joint guidelines with the Geneva Academy on investigating IHL violations, which is available here: https://www.geneva-academy.ch/research/publications/detail/496-guidelines-on-investigating-violations-of-ihl-law-policy-and-good-practice
    • ICRC currently do not have trainings on IHL in Ukrainian for now. However, should you be interested in e-learning modules in English, you can find them here.

    SPHERE materials: the 2011 Sphere Handbook and the Humanitarian Inclusion Standards in Ukrainian for dissemination to staff and partners as necessary.
